I have been interested in real estate for years, however was more focused on W2 career and traditional investments. Recently became an accredited investor and started participating in crowdfunding sites like Realtyshares. I am looking at the buy/hold strategy for small multi family investments within 2 hours of my location. Have tried bidding on multiple online auctions, sheriff and tax sales however have not been successful yet. Looking forward to connecting with like minded individuals on BP. Goals: Short Term: Purchase 1st investment property by June 2019. Focused on Multi-family and Mobile Home Parks. Long Term: Generate half of our retirement income through real estate investments in the next 20 years.
