I found Bigger Pockets while researching ways to transition away from a 9-5, boss-driven work day. I grew up watching my grandfather invest in real estate in Georgia, and I have always been interested in investing there, myself. Experience: My wife and I have purchased two primary residences in the past 3 years. We made a small profit on the sale of our first home after owning for just over 2 years, though we sold solely for relocation purposes. We closed on our first STR property late in 2017 and are feverishly working to get it on the market after meeting some hurdles during a harsh winter. Real Estate Goals: I would love to replace my job (as well as my wife's job) with real estate investing.
