American Homeowner Preservation empowers accredited and non-accredited investors to pool money online to buy shares of distressed mortgages and generate impactful social returns and compelling financial returns. American Homeowner Preservation is crowdfunding for social and financial betterment. We make it easy for investors to earn a great return, while helping struggling homeowners. We began as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2008 in Cincinnati, Ohio and have evolved into a for-profit socially responsible online investment community based in Chicago, Illinois. Our pioneering borrower resolution strategies create the opportunities for gains. It’s a win-win-win-win-win for investors, families, communities, AHP and the banks that sell us mortgages at significant discounts. Although these lenders may take the financial losses which make AHP's model viable, they benefit by disposing of their problem assets. We strive for full-transparency by providing real-time insight, not only into AHP investments' financial performance, but also into AHP investments' social impact.
