I work at a credit union in Business Lending as a Commercial RE Loan Administrator. Also a vocal music teacher - I teach one on one lessons in my home in Spokane, Washington. Real Estate Goals: In the short term, I want to get started with my first investment by purchasing a 2-4 family unit that I can live in myself and rent out the rest. I want to place management of the property with an experienced person or entity, so that I can learn with that safety net in place. I am a very busy person and I want to preserve my schedule and other commitments as much as possible. I am hungry for knowledge, however, and will not be able to pass up an opportunity to learn a new skill or develop myself in any capacity. I want to make my first purchase as soon as I can - I am prepared with financing in place, including liquidity for move-in repairs and reserves. This is what I am working on at present. I also have potential capital partners lined up for the future, so I am cautiously optimistic that my next several deals will fall into place fairly rapidly after that. With or without, partners, however, my goal is to add at least one rental property per year for the next five, with incremental accelerations if all goes well. Currently Seeking: I need as much help, information and guidance as I can get! Resources and direction are always appreciated. In particular, I need to develop a pipeline for deals that I can maintain on my busy schedule, and a network of people I can trust to get me from start to finish in discovering, buying and securing occupancy for my properties.
