Alexandra Hughes Pailet

Alex's motto is "why not make it fun?"—and it shows in everything she does. As Director of Events at BiggerPockets, she produces the annual BiggerPockets Conference, PassivePockets Summit, investor meetups, and other special projects that go beyond logistics: experiences designed to spark genuine connections and send people home inspired. A North Carolina native who moved to Colorado in 2016 to join the BiggerPockets team at the former Denver HQ, Alex eventually turned her eye for strategy toward real estate investing, house hacking her first home in 2018 and building a small portfolio of long-term rentals and multifamilies since. When she's not running the show, you'll find her traveling, rummaging through a thrift store, deep in a DIY project, or (naturally) planning something.
