I'm a recovering art-director in the film industry. I lived in Toronto, New York and Los Angeles for about a decade, but grew frustrated by how un-scaleable that industry was. I've rehabbed my primary residence in Los Angeles in my spare time and sold it two years later to move to Miami in 2014. So far I've done two more houses in Maimi - I currently live in one myself and another one I've kept as a rental. I lean towards rehabbing primarily, as the market is ripe for it, and I enjoy it - but I keep an eye for rentals if the numbers are particularly good, as they still are in many places in South Florida.
