I am brand new to real estate investment and have been putting in a lot of time educating myself as much as possible. I currently live in Omaha but am originally from Indiana and grew up just outside of Tampa, Florida. I bought my first house 14 years ago with the intention of doing a live-in flip. I knew plenty about the renovation side of things but honestly didn't know anything about real estate investment or leveraging my equity so I'm still in the same house. I love the house but am excited to be learning more about REI so that I can actually work towards regularly flipping houses that I don't necessarily live in and building passive income streams. My goal is to do one fix-and-flip and to acquire my first rental property by the end of 2019.
