Deals = 0 for now* I'm a commercial Electrician by trade, a Bigger Pockets junkie by night, and at work, thanks to the BP podcast! The area I live in is extremely expensive and I think I am going to buy my first rental property out of state or possibly in state just out of my local area. I am here working on my Business Plan to design my lifestyle to retire by 50. I have 7 years left so that is not a lot of time. The crazy part though and the thing I always smile when I think about, is the fact that most of my expense and everyones expenses in the San Francisco Bay Area, is the commute I make everyday. Bridge tolls, the BART system, GAS and most importantly time, are expenses that cost insane amounts of money and sanity. So while I make extremely great income in my W2, that extra money is handed back just trying to earn that money. Oh America, how I love thee. (I do love our Country, but damn being a slave to the system) Moral of the above paragraph is I could drop like half my income if I didn't have to commute everyday and instead of using time and money to get to work to make money everyday, I should instead be using just money to make me MORE money! I am here, I am working at it and I would love to connect with everyone, especially some accountability partners!
