I am a teacher and California native who has been working and travelling abroad for 8 years After getting our fill of adventure (and after aggressively saving —and investing— our tax-free, foreign-earned income), my family and I have decided to begin the next chapter of our lives. My real estate interest lies in earning passive income, specifically through buy-and-hold properties. I have my eye on investing in multi-family residences, and going from there. Experience: I am a new investor interested in buy-and-hold properties, specifically in multi-family residences. Real Estate Goals: My goal is to amass enough passive income through multi-family residences to be able to replace my salary. Financial independence is the ultimate goal. The big "why" in my pursuit of real estate is to be able to (eventually) buy back time to spend with my family and on travel.
