I've always loved real estate and the opportunities it brings. After a year and a half of research, I've gotten my first rental! Moving to Knoxville, TN at the end of September 2020 and planning to really get going once there. Experience: I received my real estate license in California in 2016 and worked in the San Diego area for 1 year. During this time, I sold on my own but also worked as an assistant for a top producing agent. Basically, I handled everything besides actually getting the listing. In 2017 my fiance and I moved to Austin, TX in a spur of the moment type deal. Since we moved and getting my license in Texas would take some time, I got a 9-5 job. We purchased our home in Georgetown in 2018, using a conventional 3% down loan. Through some amazing programs, we also had most of our closing costs covered. I brought under $1,800 to the deal. It was awesome. Soon after, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and stumbled across Bigger Pockets. Currently, I work as a Sales Operations Manager for a healthcare marketing/tech company. I love listening to real estate and personal finance books and podcasts. I've learned so much from these resources and am excited to translate that knowledge into action. I would say I am great at implementing processes, problem-solving creatively, and am tenacious. Goals: My 1-year goal is to do 1 deal per quarter in 2021. My 3-year goal is to have enough income from rental properties to replace my current salary. I'd My 5-year goal is to be developing new, modern communities on a "normal" homebuyers budget or developing 100% dog-friendly apartments and townhomes. Currently Seeking: Relationships: Looking to connect with other investors, contractors, lenders (hard money or conventional), whole-sellers, property management, and agents. Open to doing deals here locally in Austin OR long distance. I'm also looking for anyone who wants to partner on a local deal here in Austin who needs someone on the ground. Deals: BRRR: Looking for deals that could work for BRRRs that yield at least $100 or more per month in cash flow after all expenses.
