Full time real estate investor & realtor in the Kern County area. I started investing (officially) in 2016 buying a 4plex in Taft, CA that I self manage. Unofficially, I really started my landlord career back in 2011 when I took over the mortgage on my dads house and rented it out room by room (would not recommend lol). Since then I've flipped 5 houses in Bakersfield & patiently waiting to find my 6th. I do all the rehab work myself along with my dad. After 2 years of investing I finally made the move into full time real estate. I got my real estate license in 2018 and work mostly with investors. Given that I started as an investor and have hands-on experience in property management and rehab, Ive gained real insight into what makes a property a good investment or a potential nightmare. I also love math and created my own spreadsheets and equations for evaluating potential flips or long term rentals that I use for myself and my clients.
