I am a new part-time real estate investor. I am an economist by training as well as a freelance web copywriter. I've had an interest in real estate investing for a few years now, so I've been learning as much as I could about the subject. I'm now ready to try my hand in doing some deals. My current focus is on wholesaling so I can generate the cash that will enable me to transition into other forms of real estate investing in the future. In the long term I would like to be involved in buying and holding (small multi-family properties), and buy, fix and flip, while still being involved in wholesaling those deals that I am not able to keep for myself as well and to keep on generating quick cash for investing. I'll be investing from outside of the US for now, so I'm looking to partner with some fellow investors and others stateside (mentors, realtors, contractors, rehabbers, mortgage brokers, title companies, RE attorneys, property management companies etc) to learn from, network with and start doing business with.
