Hi! My wife and I own one house hack property (two units, live in lower) and manage another one half of a duplex owned by my family. We are using MTR strategy on both, with STR to fill any gaps. We've been learning a lot as we've found our renters from Furnished Finder, and guests from Airbnb over this past year. We are actively working with our lender and agent to get into our next property. We're really excited to take this next step and own three rental units, and manage a fourth! Thanks to BP on YouTube, we are diligently researching and learning more about BRRRR, Multifamily, and other methods that could work for us to gain financial independence and improve the future for our two amazing kids (12 & 3). My wife is an amazing stylist of 20 years and I am the Director of User Experience at a worldwide biotech company. We own a home and have a family duplex unit as well, that we think we could potentially turn into our first two rental properties.
