I am currently buying a second home and planning to rent my first home. Within a week of going into escrow I got an offer I couldn't refuse to sell a building I own for my business. Now I'm looking to do a 1031 exchange. I was looking to ease into real estate investing. This building sale is pushing me into real estate investing quicker than I expected. I'm looking for cash flow, and to get cash flow I need to look outside my home market. So along with learning something new, I'm trying to do it remotely. This 1031 is a life changing opportunity for me that I have to get right.
