Born and raised in North Carolina, I've been an active-duty Sailor since I was 19 and have lived and served all over the world. I came to BiggerPockets after the podcast sparked a deep interest in the possibilities of real estate investing. My goal is to invest in real estate as a side business to help secure my family's financial future after I retire from the military. Experience: I'm new to real estate, but I've been an index fund investor for several years, and I'm looking to diversify. Real Estate Goals: I'm working toward finding and closing my first wholesale deal before December 31. Over the next 12 months, my goal is to clear $30,000 in net profit from wholesaling. Within the next 5-7 years, I plan to build a passive real estate portfolio that will replace my W2 income. Currently Seeking: Potential partners and networking opportunities! I'm looking to connect with any real estate investors or other professionals interested in working with me on a part-time basis (mainly nights/weekends) to establish a thriving wholesaling business. Right now, I'm specifically looking for fellow military investors (current or former) and folks with experience in pre-foreclosure and distressed properties in southern California and central North Carolina.
