I am a real estate investor, a REALTOR and a structural engineer. My wife, three kids and I moved to the Atlanta area in 2014. The deals I am looking to get involved in are single family flips, multi-unit rental properties and small apartment complexes. Experience: I am a licensed structural engineer, I have several years of design of residential construction, code review of residential construction, inspection of residential construction, engineer of record for residential construction and I have personally renovated all aspects of houses (except for roofs). In my opinion, having experience swinging a hammer is critical when your goal is to purchase and improve real estate. I have renovated houses from all aspects of construction; from framing, to plumbing to electrical, etc. This hands-on experience is irreplaceable and a leg up in the industry. One of my most important attributes is 10 years acting as a subcontractor in the steel industry. I was a senior project manager for construction projects both small and large. Let's face it, project management is a key to successful completion of multiple house flips and renovations that are running concurrently. Schedules and dollars go hand-in-hand. Real Estate Goals: My immediate goal is to acquire approximately 40 doors to provide passive/active income that will supplement our family income. We currently have 20 doors. We are half way there. Our long-term goal is to continue acquiring properties, become more active in flipping and venture into other aspects of real estate. Currently Seeking: Distressed multi-family properties in the greater Atlanta area.
