I specialize in the Short Term Vacation Rental niche, specifically rural cabins. I buy cabins in the mountains, fix them up, furnish them with furniture that I design and build, and rent them as boutique vacation rentals. Experience: I started with STR in 2015 when my partner and I arbitraged a 6 bedroom house in Capitol Hill area of Seattle. It was then that I learned the power of STR and how to properly manage a constant flow of guests. In that house we rented each room independently, so any given night we had 6 sets of guests. The first property I purchased was a 4 unit in Bremerton, which I purchased with no money out of pocket, renovated using the BRRR strategy, and recently completed a condo conversion. My partners and I still own that property as a long term rental. I also own and manage 3 cabins in Granite Falls area, which are thoughtfully designed to offer an incredible guest experience. This is where I spend most of my energy these days. Real Estate Goals: To buy and hold enough rental properties (traditional and vacation rental) to generate $20,000/mo in passive income for my family. Currently Seeking: Network with other STVR owners who operate at a high level, with solid systems in place that allow them to scale.
