I own a Real Estate Investment company based out of the five boroughs. My partner and I currently own real estate in Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. Over a year ago we decided to head to Philly! We bought properties in the Philly area and I am just looking for some good advice, Investors opinions, helping anyone who is just starting out and of course GREAT deals! Experience: I started my real estate career in 2005, with no intentions of ever following through with a career in Real Estate. I believe I was 24 yrs old my cousin was going for his license, I knew about RE only from what I saw within my family. Last minute decision and I told my cousin "Sure! I'll tag along and go to the classes with you to keep you company." Well I pass the exams, became an agent in a terribly boring office, quit and went back to school for my masters in EDU. I was a Special Education Teacher for 12 years and the older I became the more passion grew inside me for real estate. Something inside me always said I should have stuck with it, and not given up. Well, I regret nothing, you live you learn. So I did my research and discovered a new outlet to Real Estate and that was investing. Needless to say, I saved money and planned my rescindment from teaching and jumped right into to buying my first house and within that first year bought another four. I Love love love the investment aspect of RE but I defiantly don't see myself ever utilizing my RE license again. Real Estate Goals: "10% of the borrowers in the world use debt to get richer, 90% use debt to get poorer." - Robert Kiyosaki. "Buy land their not making it anymore" AND.... "Landlords grow rich in their sleep" Currently Seeking: New properties, new challenges, new environments/areas, new (temporary) neighbors and most of all learning. One can never learn enough about the real estate business. Its never the mundane, its in constant motion and anxiously unpredictable. I always have to keep up and stay one step ahead at all times!
