I am a retired Navy Officer that is addicted to investing in real estate and other real assets! My current W-2 life involves managing new construction and additions/renovations for a Houston area school district. I recently bought a franchise, Mobiledumps of Houston. As for my investments, I currently own 3 single family rentals, which I self-manage. Over the last 3 years I've gotten into passive investing. My passive investments are 2 apartment complexes, an RV park, and best of all...a boat! My boat rental is running at about a 35% ROI over the last 1.5 years and that's with splitting the profits with my sister who manages the boat.
