Arian Cabrera Alvarez

I am a Cuban immigrant living in Austin, Texas. My wife and I came from Cuba 6 years ago and have been in the IT field since then. During these years, we have worked hard to learn the language, to stabilize our financial status, and our personal lives. Personally, I owe my love for real estate to my grandfather. By the age of 10, I had already lived in more than seven houses. My grandpa is a house flipper in Cuba, still buying, fixing, and selling even though he is in his 70’s. My wife and I bought our current home 2 years ago and proudly noticed how we made a great team during the whole process. Now, we want to continue investing in the real estate market focusing in rental (the part my wife likes the most) and flipping, in which I have participated since childhood. Real estate laws and conditions in Cuba, like almost everything else, are completely different from USA, so we are currently focusing on learning the basics to, in a near future, be experts in our field. Our goal is to have 2 rental properties in the next year to a total of 20 in the next 5 years, also want to do at least 1 flip next year and start establishing our rehab and flip business in that 5 years range, increasing our volume and quality. We both have full time jobs that help us greatly with the financing part but planning to move full time to our real estate business in a near future. We are currently seeking rentals and fix and flip houses, in the Greater Austin Area. Seeking honest friendships where we can learn from each other.
