Experience: Bought a 3 bedroom home with an unfinished basement in which we built a two bedroom apartment. We did both DIY and contractors for the renovation. We house hacked this and lived in it for two years before we bought our single family home and rented out both units. Real Estate Goals: I would like to replace my income with cash flow from our real estate buy and holds. Mostly looking to utilize the BRRR method on multi-family rentals. Looking at 2-4 units but also smaller apartment buildings 5-12 units currently.
