Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, and I am a buy and hold investor residing in Colorado. I am currently employed by a Fortune 50 company for my day job, but do plan on becoming a full time investor in the next 3-5 years. My professional background is in sales, and I have been named top 5% in performance to goal for my company for two years in a row. Fortunately, I have been able to transfer some of my experience and success to my real estate world, and have been very blessed for my hard work and dedication. I got into real estate investing quite by accident. Due to a family emergency and subsequent hardship years ago, I was forced to either rent out my home or potentially lose it to foreclosure while we figured out to do with it long term. I was completely shocked to find that I could rent my home for MORE than the mortgage--I cash flowed on my first try! I couldn't believe the value of what was right in front of my face. I was completely hooked, and have been working on my real estate empire ever since! I was blessed in that situation to have tenants that were not awful, damaging or overly needy/picky; although I did have some experiences with them that made me question their sanity! :) A couple years after that, I purchased a small rental out of state for cash, and have been working on my portfolio with the intention of financial freedom from real estate. It only took me one rental to realize that this is something that can really take me places and help me achieve my goals. Of course there have been ups and downs, but I am in love with this crazy business! Currently I am on BP working on networking with like-minded individuals to find private money investors, partners, and most of all, great experiences. I want to create lasting relationships in the real estate community (both local and other markets), and I would love to help anyone that I can chase their dream in real estate. I am so fortunate to have made some wonderful friends on here who have given me invaluable insight, encouragement, and advice---and I would love to do the same for someone else! I love sharing information and helping others succeed. I live in Colorado with my three beautiful children. My goal is to purchase them each a small rental single family home to manage and do what they will with when they are 16, and to help them achieve financial freedom and accomplish their goals. I want them to have a choice whether to go to college or not; and I want them to genuinely pursue their dreams. I plan on showing them that real estate is a wonderful way to do that!
