Barry Vuong

I'm a investor ready to get my start in the real estate business after years of reading and sitting on the sidelines. I grew up in Maryland and attended college at the University of Maryland. After working a few years I moved to Florida to start my own business. I moved back to the DC metro area for new business opportunities and currently reside with my wife and daughter in Ashburn, Virginia. Experience: I purchased my first property to live in before meeting my wife and moving back to the DC Metro area. I currently rent the property out and it is managed by a property management company. I'm looking to gain experience and build my portfolio to secure financial freedom for me and my family. Real Estate Goals: My first goal is to build a real estate portfolio that cash flows six figures. My focus will be on finding value-add multifamily and apartment building properties to force appreciation and use leverage to grow my business exponentially. As a start, I am currently studying for my Realtor License in Virginia. After completion, I will also be studying to obtain my licenses in DC, Maryland and Florida. In the future I would like to get into real estate development once I gain more experience and have built a team and strong network. Geographic areas of concentration will be around the DC Metro region (Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC) and SW Florida around the Fort Myers/Naples area. Currently Seeking: I am currently seeking to make any contacts to begin building my network to support my real estate business goals.
