I've had interest in real estate for many years, but never had the urgency to pursue it. Worked with builder on our first semi-custom home. Then bought land for our future (and present) fully custom dream home designed by my wife and me. Worked with the GC on all aspects. I can do most trades as a handyman. Worked the corporate tech job, moving up, save in 401k, stocks, metals, crypto, etc. until the recent tech sector RIFs hit. Perhaps that was the kick in the rear I needed. Last 2 months, I have been loading up on knowledge (books, youtube, etc.) about real estate investing, but find everyone has the pitch for their niche. Trying to determine my path: flip raw land, BRRRR, slow-flip, small multifamily, commercial storage, etc. Looking for some immediate cash flow, then move more to passive/semi-passive income. Also, looking for any potential mentors. I do have some funds to invest.
