I've always enjoyed taking single-family homes that need some attention, renovating them, improving them, and turning them into quality places for people to live. There is something meaningful about taking a property that may have been overlooked and giving it new life. When done the right way, investing in residential real estate can improve neighborhoods, provide quality housing for residents, and create long-term wealth for the people who own those properties. That is why I want to specialize as a buyer's agent for real estate investors in Columbus, Ohio. I want to help investors identify opportunities that make sense—not simply find them a house. I want to understand their investment strategy, analyze the numbers, identify potential risks and opportunities, and help them build a residential portfolio that supports their long-term goals. My goal is to bring the perspective of an investor to the agent-client relationship. I understand that an investment property isn't just a house; it's an asset. The purchase price, renovation requirements, rental potential, neighborhood, operating expenses, and long-term appreciation all matter. I want to help investors make informed decisions that work both on paper and in the real world. But there is an even bigger reason behind what I'm building. I have two children, and I want real estate and investing to be part of the education I give them. I want them to grow up understanding how money works, how investments work, how real estate can create wealth, and—perhaps most importantly—how to create opportunities rather than simply wait for them. I want to build a life where my children don't just hear me talk about investing; they see me do it. I want them to experience renovations, understand why we bought a property, learn how we evaluate an investment, see the challenges that come with owning real estate, and understand the patience required to build something over time. More than anything, I want the time I spend with my children to be meaningful. I want them to look back as adults and remember the lessons, experiences, and conversations we had—and recognize that those experiences helped shape the way they approached their own financial future. My definition of success isn't simply the number of houses I buy/sell or the size of my business. Success is helping investors build something lasting, improving the communities around me, and building a legacy that my children can carry forward. Columbus is a city with tremendous opportunity, and I want to be part of its continued growth by helping investors make smart decisions about residential real estate while improving the homes and neighborhoods where people live. Ultimately, my "why" is simple: I want to build wealth through real estate, create better communities through responsible investment, and teach my children how to do the same—so the work I do today can positively impact their lives long after they are grown.
