Reach out. ——- 2018 Update: My family and I sold our first home and made a nice profit. Relocated to San Juan, PR from Providence, RI on July 1, 2018. Excited to be here for Act 20/22 and looking to invest in the island. Anyone looking to connect? ——- I've always loved business and real estate. Have been running my own business for almost 10 years. Have an associates, bachelors and masters degree. Work full time as a technology teacher. Also have a wife and two kids. Experience: Finally bought my first house Oct 2012, via a HUD program GNND (Good Neighbor Next Door) for Teachers, Firefighters and Police Officers to purchase homes at 50% of the list price of specifically selected HUD homes. I also got a 203K loan out for repairs and did a complete remodel. We brought it down to the studs. We turned it from a 2 bed 2 bath to a 3 bed 2.5 bath home. In addition to the 50% discount and 203k loan, I got some credits for stolen copper before we closed. Finally I received funding from my city to make the home lead safe. Real Estate Goals: Currently I'm looking to network with local investors, lenders, attorneys, accountants, wholesalers etc. to further my knowledge on the business in addition to provide services and leads as needed. Currently Seeking: More commercial knowledge. That's my ultimate goal. Apartment complexes and mixed use buildings with hands off owner & private investor financing.
