I recently quit my day job (sold my Orange County, CA architectural firm) to spend more time in real estate investing and other areas of interest. I have been involved in some development and real estate investing since 2009. My primary interest is in buy and hold rental properties and currently have a handful of residential rental properties in Orange County. I am currently researching markets outside of Southern California, as significant price appreciation over the last several years has made finding deals with solid returns rare. Experience: I am a commercial architect and was, until my recent semi-retirement, Principal in Pacific Design Group, LLC in Tustin, CA. Through my career I have developed an interest in different aspects of real estate. Over the past 15, years my personal real estate experience outside of my architectural practice includes the following; all in Southern California: 1 Residential flip 1 Hotel development investment 1 Rental duplex buy and hold 5 Condo buy and holds Real Estate Goals: I am looking outside California, since prices have appreciated beyond what makes sense from a cash flow standpoint. My goal is to purchase additional buy and hold SFRs and Condos. Currently Seeking: SFR or Multi-family buy and hold deals
