As a general partner in syndication deals, my primary focus is raising capital from accredited investors and helping investors achieve their real estate investment goals. Originally from Utah, I've been in Austin since 2011, settling hear after a year-long trip around the globe. Together with my wife we're working on building a lifestyle that will support that kind of freedom for the rest of our lives. Experience: Real estate investing has been part of my life since my college days. I earned my undergraduate degree in Finance with an eye towards commercial real estate, interning with Stellar Development in Seattle, one of the premier large commercial property portfolio companies in the Northwest. I purchased my first rental property within months of graduating college, and quickly added several more units in Utah. My career includes nearly a decade with a retail/wholesale/marketing/publishing/hospitality startup company in Utah, the last four as president of the organization, guiding it through incredible growth until a successful buyout. Experience includes management of hotel and vacation property, retail and café operations, as well as the development of retail and hospitality space, and raising capital from both domestic and international investors. After moving to Texas in 2011, I began actively flipping residential properties and building a rental portfolio in Austin and neighboring cities in Central Texas.  And of course I also invest passively in large commercial multifamily properties. Real Estate Goals: Primary goal is to build relationships with accredited investors and help them learn and invest in real estate syndications while supporting sponsors with their capital needs.
