I am a real estate investor primarily in the house hack and vacation rental space since 2017. We bought our first investment property in Nashville, TN in 2016 that we operated as a LTR until we sold in December 2020 with a net payout of $215k of profit. Our 1st STR is located in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee which we remotely self manage, our 2nd investment property is a renovated and restored 1906 Folk Victorian Farmhouse in Hickory, NC that will be a medium term rental for traveling healthcare professionals. I am a Former Digital Nomad and Fulltime RV'er that leveraged Geoarbitrage that maximized our income while decreasing our monthly expenses. We Became consumer debt free in 2019 after paying off over $300k in debt. I've recently launched Nest Egg Investments (@nestegginvestments) a brand new syndication for working professionals who wish to invest in real estate with their hands in, but from a hands off approach. I specialize in STRs, VRs, creative house hacking, and soon to venture into the commercial space. In the coming months, I'll be looking for additional investors to build capital for an exciting new opportunity! Experience: I have more than 10 years experience in Real Estate as a homeowner, landlord, and investor. I've learned a few things along the way, but ready to learn from the mistakes and capitalize from that experience. Real Estate Goals: My wife and I's goals are essentially financial freedom. In the short-term, we'd like to have cash flow to continue investing in additional properties such as vacation rentals, but in the long-term we'd like to eventually have the option to retire from our current careers and focus primarily on real estate. Currently Seeking: Any and all advice on securing vacation rental properties with little money and beginning the foundation towards financial freedom.
