I first became a licensed REALTOR® in 2004 and have the added credentials of RSPS and SFR® from the National Association of Realtors. Not many REALTORS® here on BP have those certifications. RSPS stands for Resort & Second Home Property Specialist. This Certification is for REALTORS® who facilitate the buying, selling or management of properties for INVESTING and/or second homes. SFR® stands for Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource. This certification is for REALTORS® who have taken the additional time and learning to be certified in helping those who have fallen on difficult times that are looking at the possibility of foreclosure and need to do a short sale as well as the intricacies of working with buyers that are seeking to purchase foreclosures and short sales. I also have earned the REALTOR® Certifications of MRP (Military Relocation Professional) as well as the Certification from the National Association of Realtors as a PSA (Pricing Service Advisor). I bought my first property in Concord to live in, when I moved from San Leandro. But I wanted to start house hacking so I bought a duplex in East Oakland, and rented the condo out as well as the other side of the duplex. Eventually I started doing buy and hold on SFR's, Duplexes and triplexes. I am also a limited partner in a Self Storage Facility through real estate syndicating. On a personal note, I'm also an Eagle Scout, a Navy Veteran that served on warships & Special Boat Units (Now called SWCC) as well as being a HAM Radio Operator. Experience: I'm a REALTOR® and I own investment properties in the Oakland, CA East Bay Market and Cleveland, OH. I've also worked for Coldwell Banker and Zip Realty.
