Have been an Active Listener of the bigger pockets podcast. I started out my investing journey by acquiring properties (2 duplexes) in Lakewood OH. Thanks to BP my first investment was a complete site-unseen buy based on data and numbers. I exited these duplexes and 1031 exchange'd for an 8 plex in McAllen Tx. Here i self manage the units just using technology. A few units are given out for Airbnb and short-term rental. Then as my next investment was a 44-room hotel that I still own along with my 8-plex.
