Happily married and currently living and working as a Realtor in Falls Church, Va. I broke into the game by purchasing my first investment property in March 2021 and acting as a hard money lender for a multi-family investor. I’m currently licensed in Virginia and DC. Investment Goals: Achieve passive income and to ultimately build generational wealth for my family by investing in a stable, well diversified real estate portfolio in strategic markets throughout the United States. I plan to accomplish this by first investing in buy/hold single family homes in targeted markets that provide cash flow and appreciation. My goal is to purchase four properties in 2021 and doubling each year for 3-5 years. Next, I will reinvest my profits to purchase value-add commercial properties (i.e. self-storage facilities, warehouses, car washes, multi-family) that will help accomplish my ultimate goal of building generational wealth for my family. About Me: I was born/raised in South Dakota. My parents raised me with small town values that I carry close and surround myself with likeminded friends. I enjoy traveling (have visited over 30 countries...so far!), golf, fitness, and of course spending quality time with my lovely wife. I also enjoy reading and learning - the vast majority of books on my bookshelf are on real estate, investing, and mindset - although, I do love reading nonfiction espionage novels when I need a break from it all. My passion for real estate comes from my grandpa, who passed away in May 2020 (natural causes, not COVID). He invested in commercial real estate many years ago and it allowed for enough passive income during retirement for him and my grandma to live a great life together. I’m very determined and willing to take on risks (calculated, of course) to achieve my goals. I understand that real estate investing can be dangerous if not done right. I'm not here to "get rich quick", to take advantage of anyone, or to be taken advantage of. I want to build generational wealth over time to become financially independent and work because I want to, not because I have to. I have a big, hairy, audacious goal (aka my Vivid Vision) to accomplish by 2023 and an even bigger goal by 2030! My goals: Short Term: - Obtain my Real Estate license by the end of 2023 (Complete) - Find an experienced mentor to help guide me to achieve my goals (Complete) - Purchase four buy/hold rental properties in 2021 (Complete) Mid Term: - Obtain my Real Estate Broker license by end of 2025 - Work as a Real Estate Agent - Build a diversified $1M real estate portfolio by the end of 2025 Long Term: - Expand my real estate portfolio to $100M by the end of 2030 - Own a Real Estate Brokerage business focused on real estate investors (local, out-of-state, and international clients) - Give back to the community by mentoring new real estate investors to help them achieve their goals What I offer: - Some investing experience - Solid W2 income.
