I'm a small business owner/ educator/ franchisee from the East Bay Area (Oakland, CA). I'm new to real estate investment and have been devouring information from BiggerPockets. I have finally built up some capital and it's time for me to invest it. I love the idea of building a portfolio for my long-term plan, so I plan on doing mostly buy-and-hold as I continue to build capital through my business. I would also like to possibly do some fix-and-flips as I do have some remodeling experience and partnership possibilities with a contractor friend of mine. This community seems like the best place to learn, grow, and share in this business and I'm extremely grateful to have found it!
