I have been happily married (20+ years) to my beautiful wife and we have a beautiful daughter. I have been investing in RE for 10 + years. I’m far from an “expert”, but would consider myself somewhat “seasoned” in the area of RE investing. We currently own a portfolio of homes and smaller apt units in California that serves the “affordable” housing sector. I’ve been involved in the following: Buy n Hold, Tenant make readies, rehabs, evictions, Flips, Private Lending, Syndications, Note Investing, Seller Financed deals, Wholesaling, Private Placements, JV’s, and VC investing. I hold my current portfolio within an S Corp we formed and run the investing through that (been very tax favorable) along with a QRP that was set up to offset the income earned through the S Corp. I am retired from Law Enforcement after having served my community for 28 years. Lastly, I pride myself on having a lot of integrity and try to live my life by the golden rule; treat others the way I would like to be treated.
