I was born in the South, and sometimes find myself just driving around admiring its natural beauty and community life. I love where I live, so when the opportunity arose for me to enter the real estate market as a lender to help others invest in my favorite places, I jumped at it. I spent the previous 6 years as an entrepreneur and small business owner, so I take the long view of financial decisions (along with a grain of creatively calculated risk).
