I'm the founder of Carrot.com and a passive investor since 2004. I live in Oregon with my beautiful wife and kids, love mountain biking, and inspiring entrepreneurship through my Young Entrepreneurs Society group, entrepreneur co-workspace, and InvestorCarrot. Experience: I started investing in 2004... after a year and a half of reading websites and learning... but never taking action. So I purchased my first multi-family property when I was 21 and in college... and since then have been involved in commercial investments and income properties. In addition to owning rental properties, I've gotten pretty darn good at generating leads online in the real estate market. Since 2005 I've generated over 80,000 real estate leads online (mostly buyers, but thousands of sellers as well) using "inbound marketing". Our Carrot clients have generated over 5 million online inbound leads and collectively close more than $100M/yr in deals using leads generated in our system.
