I am Rookie Real Estate Investor. I have purchased 1 property at this time and I wish I could call it a mediocre deal. Lot of lessons learned and continuing to learn, BIGGEST lesson though "know your numbers". Lot of Podcast and multiple books later I am more confident and eager to continue to learn & grow. I find my full time job is making it difficult. I work in the Middle East 8-9 months of the year with great internet some of the time and sometimes no communications at all. My time home is usually around 30 days at a time. I'm currently working on systems to forego the distance and comms issues. Real Estate Goals: Purchase at least 1 property a year more than the year prior inevitably stacking my portfolio REI interests: SFR & small multi-family(4 or less) Section 8, SFR & small multi-family B & C class neighborhoods I have only used conventional financing thus far. Looking forward to finding a good deal and utilizing many other forms of financing. Really anticipating taking a shoot with BRRRR strategy. My "WHY": Live comfortably and financially free while growing my investment portfolio and quit deploying away from home. To take control of my life and actually have the time and opportunity to live my life with my wife doing the things we love.
