I am very new to real estate investing, though I have loved the idea of flipping houses since I was about 12...I just had other things to do (school, careers, travel, family). Now I realize that I can have a real estate investing career, travel and care for my family all at the same time. My husband and I live in Okanogan, WA with our 15 year old son who lives and breathes all things sports, especially football. Our 23 year old daughter is graduating this year from college as a primary school teacher. I volunteer in our community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and with various non-profit organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. I love pets (especially Dachshunds), hiking, photography and helping people. My husband and I want to flip houses in North Central Washington to build a retirement for ourselves, help support our aging parents, and help improve the quality of homes available on the market in our community. We also want to buy and hold to have a few rentals (as passive income and because the quality of affordable rentals is less than ideal here at the moment). In our minds, anyone should have a nice, safe and comfortable home if they want one and they should be able to have pets if they rent.
