Hi, I’m Charles — an Ivy League grad and NYC public school teacher with a growing passion for real estate investing. I’m currently researching as much as possible to find a strong first deal using the BRRRR strategy and house hacking. I’ve been building my own BRRRR deal analyzer in Excel to evaluate opportunities, and my goal is to live in one unit, rent the others, and use that first deal to build long-term momentum and wealth. I’m focused on markets like Elizabeth, Yonkers, and Newark, but I’m open to any promising suburban areas outside of NYC. I’m especially looking for properties that may not cash flow heavily up front but offer strong value-add potential through renovations, a professional tenant pool, long-term appreciation, and room for future rent increases to improve profitability over time.
