I have a passion for investing and personal finance, particularly mentoring veterans on achieving financial independence. Real Estate is the best vehicle to put the average person on the path to financial independence. I grew up in Georgia and Alabama, went to college at Auburn, and worked as a financial advisor before joining the military. The Navy brought me to Hawaii in 2006 and I never left. I got my Real Estate license in 2014 before leaving Active Duty for the Reserves. We wanted to start a family and live a life on our terms without the separation of regular submarine deployments. Real Estate was key in helping us make this transition. My first investment property was purchased in 2011 and have since acquired 11 more in Hawaii, Colorado, and Alabama, for a total of 26 units. I've made plenty mistakes and learned a ton through the years, but there is still so much for me to learn. Looking for mentorship on getting into bigger deals and expanding into new areas of Real Estate investing. When not serving my clients property needs, I spend much of my time outdoors surfing, hiking, running, paddling, and volunteering in the local community. My wife, daughter and I are lucky to call beautiful Kailua, Hawaii home.
