I am a personal injury attorney by day and a real estate investor at night and on weekends. I am in Ocala and currently have twenty rental homes which I manage myself. In 2017 we added a vacation rental, a second one in 2020, and a third in 2021 which I all manage. I have also invested with a small syndication for a STR in Smokeys. These have been very exciting and have rented well. I have partnered on flips and spec homes and new construction. Still love the buy and holds but the market has made me shift to fill the new construction gap in my market. In 2020 a partner and started to build small multi family, the first one being a triplex, and in beginning of 2023 we started construction on a duplex, and have the property for more. Also in 2019, have joined forces with yet another partner and buying mobiles on land (currently have 5) and selling, holding the paper. In September 2019, three partners and I closed on a piece of property which has an iconic restaurant and bar and we are all learning that business.
