I am a budding real estate investor that spends my days working for a heavy civil contractor. I am looking to get more involved in rehabbing distressed properties to hold and rent. Experience: I was raised in real estate by working in the family home building and construction business. I have a business degree from a great school and also hold a CPA license. I have worked in public and private accounting as well as with family and non-family entities. I am looking to learn more every day! Real Estate Goals: Short term goal is to rehab and place and tenant in a foreclosed tax lien property. My longer term 5 year goal is to have 10-15 SFRs with cash on cash returns exceeding 10% and 50+ in 10 years. Currently Seeking: Networking opportunities and information. I have built many homes from scratch and understand the process. I would like to meet as many folks and read as much as I can. I do work full time so I am specifically interested in rehabbing to hold and rent. In particular I know I will have a need to meet contractors in Indiana as well as private money lenders.
