Chris Hake

Since 1994, Chris has been personally buying, selling, investing and managing Residential, Commercial, Multi-Family and Resort investment properties, as well as being a Wisconsin licensed Realtor. He has knowledge and experience with Fix n Flip, Buy n Hold, Rehabbing, Wholesaling, Private lending, Lease Options, Short Sales, Foreclosures, Land Contracts, 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges and IRA Investing. Chris has trained and consulted with friends, family and real estate agents on “Investment 101” principals and fundamentals since 1999. In 1998, Chris developed his own customized investment analysis spreadsheets that he uses for analyzing all his own investment purchases as well as training other investors, students and real estate agents. Chris started his real estate sales career by joining First Weber Realty in Madison, WI in December 2001. In his first year, he sold over $8,000,000 in investment real estate. In January 2003 Chris, along with a group of local agents, purchased a real estate franchise named Keller Williams Realty and opened their doors for business. In August 2004, Chris opened his second Keller Williams franchise location in Madison. In 2003, Chris was invited by Gary Keller, CEO of Keller Williams Realty, to contribute to a mastermind group to create one of the hottest real estate investment books on the market, The Millionaire Real Estate Investor. In 2005 and 2006 Chris’s Keller Williams real estate team was in the top 100 for Gross Commission Income (GCI) out of 50,000+ agents in Keller Williams. Chris and his team sold over $100 Million Dollars of real estate between 2003 - 2007. Chris has a great deal of business experience over the past 26 years, having created and owned over ten different real estate partnerships, owner in two real estate franchises, CEO of a nationwide technical recruiting company, founder of one local and one nationwide coaching program and founder of the Madison Real Estate Investors Association. In 2006, Chris accepted the challenge of teaching the Real Estate Investing course at Madison Area Technical College. He built the entire course from scratch and over a four-year period taught 100’s of students. His course prepared students to become “financial analysis detectives” and teaches them how to “crunch the numbers” during the 18-week semester. After the real estate crash of 2007-2008, Chris, along with several partners, started aggressively working in the distressed real estate markets by buying, fixing, and selling distressed properties. In the spring of 2010, Chris joined three other partners to form Forward Real Estate Capital, LLC and capitalized an investment fund in January 2011 to invest in, reposition, and sell distressed single-family homes in Wisconsin and Arizona. In July 2012 Chris founded the newest investor community in Madison called The Madison Real Estate Investors Association (Madison REIA), a community of like-minded individuals, with over 300 members, that come together to network, get educated, and to create the LIFE that they’ve dreamed of. Since 2010, Chris has been involved (personally and with coaching students) in well over 100 real estate investment transactions. As a Coach, Chris works with students that are motivated, coachable and committed to becoming real estate investors and business owners. Chris is married to a phenomenal wife of 25 years, three awesome kids (all boys), two puppies, a girl named Kona and a girl named Hemi.
