Pre-2008 bubble, I invested in real estate in Florida, Illinois and Missouri. I took a break and am now getting back into the game, mainly in Colorado & Florida. I prefer buy and hold, as I'm building a portfolio of rental properties. 2006-2009: Had buy-and-hold and wholesaling success, then the bubble hit. 2014: Bought first live-in flip. Rented it, then sold. 2017: Completed 2nd live-in flip. 2018: Purchased off-market rental condo with an investor friend. 2019: Planning a wedding and actively looking for a duplex!
