I am 24yoa, a Veteran, i embarked on this journey because I wanted more for my wife and children. I grew up with the mindset that I was supposed to get a good job and work until I retire(like most of us). Unfortunately, I also became the light that everyone in my family looked to for guidance; although I was the youngest. I had a good job with benefits and could say I was comfortably in the middle class. I read the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and that changed my whole mindset. I decided to step out and take a different path than any of my family, A path of uncertainty. Though uncertain, I know I am doing what is right for myself and my family. I am now determined to stay focused and help my own family to succeed, so then I may reach out and show others how to become financially free.
