Chris Reyes

Hello everyone! My name is Chris Reyes and I come from a small town north of Denver, CO. I started my Real Estate Investing Journey back in 2015 when I purchased my first property which was a SFH with 3 beds/2bath. I used this house to "house hack" and be able to live their almost for free. I was inspired by my parents who have had 2-3 rental properties for the last 25 years and have almost all (including their own home) paid off free and clear. They showed me the power and financial security real estate can offer! My true "education" started only a couple years ago and since then I have: 1) Purchased a SFR in Northern Colorado that cashflows $300 and has seen a almost an 11% increase in value appreciation in comparable homes 2) Sold my 1st Rental Property because of a huge increase in appreciation and to increase my reserves for Bigger Projects in the future 3) Purchased my own house which I plan to utilize as another rental in the coming future My goal is to buy my first commercial property by Mid 2021 (5-6 unit property) here in colorado. As well as invest into a Fix-and-Flip opportunity. My goals with BiggerPockets are to be able to connect to numerous other real estate investors and real estate professionals that I can possibly develop relationships with and partner on future deals. Also to stay up on current events and be able to expand my knowledge from Veteran Real Estate Investors. My Life Goal is to be able to retain as much information/skills/experience and extensive Real Estate Portfolio as possible, so that I can pass on to my kids and create Generational Wealth/Knowledge. I also have already started spreading the Financial Word through my FB account (Chris Reyes) by doing a series called "100 Days of Chris." I focus on financial education to help people that are struggling with their finances and will be transitioning to YouTube when this series is complete! Looking forward to connecting with everyone!
