Hey! Relatively new to Anchorage, about three years now. Realized I was about to turn 30 and needed to do something with my life. Started with BP, transitioned into local meetups etc. Within a year we picked up 3 fourplexes, 2 in Anchorage 1 in Eagle River. I oddly enough love managing properties and am always looking to partner with someone on a deal where I would take over management. Now my wife and I are saving up money and plan on BRRRRing probably out of state, but continue to always keep an eye out for properties here. I am also working on getting my brokers license (got a little longer to wait until I qualify) so that I can start my own property management company. Working in law enforcement for the last 8yrs has given me a good mentality for dealing with tenants. Finally went to reserve at the police department and am going full time property management.
