Creating a goal and achieving it has to be one of the most exhilarating feelings. About 8 years ago I worked at a small boutique real estate brokerage firm - catering to distressed property. I was hooked. In order to become the investor instead of the realtor - I decided to get into the cell phone industry - from there I opened 2 brick and mortar locations and exported phones around the world for passive income in order to supplement my investments. I soon realized the buying power of cash and decided to start a local KC restaurant from the ground up TiKiTaco (try it!) — more passive income meant negotiate better deals and buy bulk. My hobby became my obsession and a great plan for retirement. Right now, I invest, mainly, in delinquent tax property, IRS seizures and distressed waterfront properties in tourist destination areas. As a realtor consultant/agent in Kansas City, I sell distressed/wholesale property at a local brokerage catering specifically to anyone looking to expand their territory for investment opportunities or local buyers who need assistance looking for inventory not listed on MSL or off market.
