I am currently serving on active duty in the United States Navy along with my wife. We have decided to make the military a career with 8 years remaining until we retire after 20 years of service. My ultimate goal while investing in real estate is to achieve financial freedom to spend more quality time with family and friends. Experience: In 2017, my wife and I purchased a new construction townhouse in Norfolk, Virginia with her VA loan that we currently rent out. Real Estate Goals: Short term goal is to househack multi-family duplex while stationed in St. Louis, MO. Plan to build our real estate portfolio as much as possible while gaining hands on experience on active duty to ultimately invest full time post military career.
