My husband and I started investing in SFH about 25 years ago. We read some books and became instant experts, (wink, wink), and bought 5 rental houses. We sold some, split one lot, flipped one house in a 2 week period, did a 1031 exchange on one, and then we settled in with a duplex, and one SFH, along with our own residence. We laid low for 15 years and raised our kids. Now we are almost empty nesters, and ready to get back in. We are interested in creating a passive income stream, possibly with an apartment building. We are also interested in ways to use our 401K without getting slammed, possibly cashing out a pension for real estate, and holding the two units that are currently cash flowing for us. I am currently reading and watching everything I can, and I am looking for like minded people to learn and work with.
